Sure, but aren't font resources shared anyway? when i run texexec
--pdfrrange :
2,937,036 metafun-p.pdf
3,164,832 texexec.pdf
that one is run with fontnameless map files so the fonts are embedded only
once it seems (or maybe this is the object inclusion optimizer preventing
the duplicates)
(i wonder what happens with such names when including a file made on a mac
in a tex job run on win/lin, esp since most fonts come in mac or win versions)
somehow i still feel a bit unsure in including the FontNames since they are
not guaranteed unique (across font instances) and i really want to test
that much more (the current pdftex is already pretty clever with fonts
thanks to you)
