[tex-live] TeX Live CJK fonts broken

This is also not true for Tex Live. I am able to typeset the default GB
example file from the cjk-current package, however, when changing the
default family to empty (i.e., using the default song family value), I
bumped into error:

I've re-install TeX Live 3 times. Has anyone got into the same error as me?
Please help. Thanks!
PS.
I'm using texlive2003-inst-20030928.iso, the proposed platform is Intel
x86 with GNU/Linux.
