Hi,

Fabrice told me that this should be the right place to talk about the
topic TDS. I hope nobody in Darmstadt during the meeting expected that
I have a great deal of influence on the development of MiKTeX, but
nevertheless I try to persuade Christian of anything that might come.

Fabrice and I talked about trying to get MiKTeX and fpTeX in sync in
means of tree structure. This will take some time I think, but I wrote
to Christian Schenk to discuss the topic. Maybe this will lead to a
list of things that could be useful in a new version of TDS...but I
will just float and react on things along the way.
