[tex-live] problems with vftovp

It looks like the error messages don't really make this clear.  When
processing popb7t.vf, the vftovp program looks for popb8r.tfm -- this
name is actually encoded in the vf file.

Adding that tfm file in the search path allows vftovp to run to
completion.  These tfm files should have been packaged with the
others.  A related problem seems to be that not all the tfm files
requested in this manner seem to be (readily?) available on CTAN.  I
think it should be possible to generate them from the afm files, but
did not further investigate.
