<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>I am getting a puzzling warning from an otherwise functional and brand-new<br>compilation of xdvik (the latest CTAN version).<br><br>The messages are:<br><br>Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontStruct<br>Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*" to type FontStruct<br><br>When Emacs 22.3 gave me something similar, I cured it with some xset lines to fill-out the font repertory, and the result of an xslfonts gives:<br><br>-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-adobe-standard<br>-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso10646-1<br>-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1<br>So what is xdvik looking for, and where?
