[tex-k] kpse program name

On a SUSE 10.0 system, when I call

  kpse_set_program_name("dvilj", NULL);

in a main program, it doesn't take "dvilj" as program name. (Probably
because I'm on a GNU libc system and HAVE_PROGRAM_INVOCATION_NAME is
set.)

I need to call

  kpse_reset_program_name("dvilj");

IMNSHO, this should be more emphasized in the kpathsea documentation,
info node "Calling sequence". If one calls a function named
kpse_set_program_name(), one expects that it *does* set the program
name and not that it ignores the argument.

(In this case, I don't want different search path names for the
variations of dviljk.)

Best,
	Joachim
