[tex-k] secure mode of dvips should be default

I haven't compiled it, but I looked over the README files.

One thing it does away with is the file $TEXMF/xdvi/XDvi, using (I presume)
entries in texmf.cnf instead.  Is there any reason xdvik doesn't do that?
