why not use a trick in parameterize y=f(x) with

\parametricplot
with x(t)=t and y(t)=f(t)

For the inverse function just exchange x(t) and y(t).

Pstricks plot perfectly y = f(x). But is there a way to plot x = f^{-1}(y) directly without use ImplicitPlot or by outside generation of the datas ?
Thanks
