Dear list,

Under this title I sent a question to the list some time ago and got two answers. Below is what Herbert wrote and his file list.

Herbert:

did you viewed the PS output?
If yes, what is the result when you print the file?
If this is okay, please send the ps file.

I had no problems with your example.

  *File List from Herbert*
  article.cls 2004/02/16 v1.4f Standard LaTeX document class
size10.clo 2004/02/16 v1.4f Standard LaTeX file (size option)
pst-plot.sty 2004/07/15 package wrapper for pst-plot.tex
pstricks.sty 2005/06/02 v0.23 LaTeX wrapper for `PSTricks' (RN,HV)
pstricks.tex 2005/06/02 v1.08 `PSTricks' (tvz)
   xcolor.sty 2005/06/01 v2.03a04 LaTeX color extensions (UK)
    color.cfg 2001/08/31 v1.1 color configuration of teTeX/TeXLive
    dvips.def 1999/02/16 v3.0i Driver-dependant file (DPC,SPQR)
pst-plot.tex 1999/12/12 97 patch 2 `pst-plot' (tvz)
  ***********

Here is what happened:

1. I downloaded files from ftp.dante.de. The result is that I got newer
versions than those I had; however not as new as those that Herbert
uses. Where shall I go to fetch the very latest versions of PSTricks?

 *File List*
 article.cls 2001/04/21 v1.4e Standard LaTeX document class
size10.clo 2001/04/21 v1.4e Standard LaTeX file (size option)
pstricks.sty 2004/05/12 v0.2l LaTeX wrapper for `PSTricks' (RN,HV)
pstricks.tex 2005/05/06 v1.07 `PSTricks' (tvz)
  xcolor.sty 2005/06/06 v2.03 LaTeX color extensions (UK)
   color.cfg 2001/08/31 v1.1 color configuration of teTeX/TeXLive
   dvips.def 1999/02/16 v3.0i Driver-dependant file (DPC,SPQR)

2. The problem is still there: when the scalefactor is raised, then
suddenly the windvi, that WinShell 2.6.0.4
does not show the graph any longer, BUT the PostScript viewer does
show the picture from the ps-file. The postscript file has been attached
as suggested by Herbert above. (Prof.zip)

I can live with this, but a working preview would of course make things
easier. Any suggestions?
