I do not use the LaTeX syntax in most of the examples (I mostly keep it when
there are font changes or colors applied to texts). Certainly not for Plain
users, who are a very small minority that I am convainced will not grow,
but for ConTeXt users. ConTeXt has huge advantages above LaTeX (coherent
design, coherent syntax, coherent management) and only suffer to arrive late.
Nevertheless, I am sure that it has a great future. This is why most of the
examples of the manual would be compatible with ConTeXt, as Timothy made
twelve years ago the definitive good choice to write a generic package and not
a LaTeX one (and the fact that all the ConTeXt active persons promote only
MetaPost/MetaFun does not really matter here). I also improve the integration
of PSTricks color usage in ConTeXt, which is only partial up to now.
