Hi Sophie, I'm sorry for the problems. Perhaps the download was simply corrupted somewhere; were there any error messages when you clicked on the links in the document? Perhaps downloading the basic MiKTeX will work better for you. Take a look at http://miktex.org/2.5/Setup.aspx ... Hope this helps, Karl
