[pdftex] hyperref - hypertarget

I use hypertarget to set hypertextual targets in a pdf file created with
LaTeX: it works fine and I can address the target from an html file with the
anchor mypdffile.pdf#mytarget

But if I open the pdf file with acrobat I dont see any named destinations.
Shouldn't I see the named destination "mytarget" with the Adobe acrobat ?
