[pdftex] bug with included transparent graphics

  I have a very similar configuration (Mac OS 10.4.10, pdfTeX 1.40.1)
and I don't see any difference either with Adobe Reader 8.0.0, even with
lines like "\pagecolor[HTML]{484848}  % page 2 is #000105", where I
would expect a great difference.  Nor does I see anything different in
the PDF Jim posted at sarovar.org.
