[pdftex] Re: a4 vs. letter showdown ...

Hi!

To get my system to work with regards to the above size paper ... 

(I work on a LINUX system - LaTeX)

I included in my header the following:

\documentclass[a4paper,12pt]{article}
\usepackage[a4paper]{geometry}

.... 

I run the file as usual ...

I also run it through pdflatex (filename.tex)

Send it to the printer as usual ... 

My printer informs me that the right size paper
needs to be put in the printer tray ...

The monitor reads "tray 1 load plain a4"

I tested this several times ... it works!!
