[pdftex] Metapost and PDF files

Thanks for all the help with Metapost files and PDF. I still have
one question -- what is the best method for including metapost
figures into a TeX document so that I can run it through TeX and
pdfTeX? Everything works great with LaTeX (\includegraphics, etc.),
but I don't know how to get the figures into TeX.

It works to run TeX on '\input epsf \epsfbox{fig.mps}', but pdfTeX
ignores the 'Non-PDF' special and the figure isn't included (probably
because TeX turns it into an EPS file).

I also investigated the MPtoPDF description at

    http://www.pragma-ade.com/mptopdf.htm

I can get the 'texexec --pdf --fig=c --result=fig.pdf fig.mp'
command to produce a single PDF of a figure, but it isn't clear to
me how this helps me get the file into a TeX document for use with
tex or pdftex.

Any hints on the "best" way to include metapost figures into straight
TeX documents to they'll run with TeX and pdfTeX?

Thanks!

Chris
