Here is how you may proceed. It works fine with fractions, not that much with square roots. However stroked lines are too long; but if we use 'pencircle' rather than 'pensquare' with 'linecap' set to 'butt', outlines are not complete.<br></blockquote><div> <br></div></div>This works about as well as can be expected.  Since the square root symbol is viewed as having two components, namely the surd symbol and the overline, I do not see how one would "join" them to make a single glyph.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Thank you so much for the help.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Troy<br></div></div>
