[metapost] missing font warning on console

I agree, and I'll look into this. There will be a patch release
soon(-ish).

That's why it tries mpost.map first. I've added searching pdftex.map
only as a last-ditch effort to make the metapost beta in texlive2007
work properly. Ideally, there should be an mpost.map file.
