[OS X TeX] Sierra and TeXShop

hi Herb,

you did exactly what I meant, sorry if I was not clear.
the only difference is that, as the console windows goes
to the background and the source file comes up, TeXShop
freezes.

the OS localization is italian and I'm using the italian option
of babel.

I'm attaching the log file.

Howdy,

I just added an error to your MWE document to force the compile, via pdflatex, to stop. When I press e the compile aborts and the Console window drops to the background. So even then I'm not seeing your problem. I wonder if it could be related to the localization; what language localization are you using?
