[OS X TeX] Make my biblatex .bbx style file available?

[Murray Eisenberg]

After putting my own .bbx style file for biblatex into 

   ~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/biblatex/bbx

is there something else I must do so that biblatex can find it? (Right now, I’m getting error that it cannot be found.)
