[OS X TeX] How tell MacTeX 2016 about fonts in user tree?

Howdy,

AFAIK if you install TeX Live via the MacTeX installer the fonts in TEXMFLOCAL will not be automatically included in the global map file. That's not a problem with succeeding updates since tlmgr will run the equivalent of `sudo updmap-sys` as part of the update, if needed. But on the initial install I don't believe the MacTeX post install runs it.
