As I said, I've been using Linux for a while, but back on my Mac OS days 
I used TeXshop's PDF reader for every PDF document, not only for pdfTeX 
documents, as it was much better than Preview, Adobe Reader and Adobe 
Acrobat ---and I think it still is.
