[OS X TeX] Install fail

Fink is clobbering your shell startup files. You seem to be using bash: remove or rename the following files

.bash_profile
.bashrc
.profile (if you have it)

logout and login again, or Quit and reopen Terminal.app. That should give you a saner path. Please post the result of 
	
	echo $PATH

Let’s see if that helps. (The next step would be to blast the whole Fink tree.)
