[OS X TeX] Reproducible bug in TS 3.42

I encountered the following reproducible problem in TS 3.42

With a source & PDF open in TS:

1. Use the Select tool to copy something from the PDF preview
2. Option+command+click to the Finder icon on the dock (select the Finder while hiding all other apps)
3. Option+command+click to TS on the dock

This brings up TS at an inconsistent state (see screenshot):
1: Part of the source is blank (in the screenshot, everything after line 40 is blank)
2. The PDF is unresponsive: very slow to scroll --if it scrolls at all, the rectangular selection area doesn’t go away, buttons are clickable but unresponsive.
3. The "About TeXShop" window looks garbled
4. Weirder things happen on the screen if you resize any TS windows (make them bigger) or if you close source and PDF (without quitting TS) and then open the source again.

The symptoms may vary (some times the source is scrollable but contains blank portions, or it is not scrollable at all) but I get this each time, in two different computers. All other apps interact correctly with the screen, and it all goes away if you quit TS and restart.
