[OS X TeX] errors in MacTeX2014 using XeLaTeX under Yosemite GM 3.0

From the data you posted in previous messages, it appears that you have installed both the full MacTeX 2014 distribution as well as BasicTeX 2014. I'd suggest that you redo your experiments after taking the following steps:

1. In System Preferences, open TeX Distribution and select TeXLive-2014.
2. Delete the tree rooted at /usr/local/texlive/2014basic.
3. Run
sudo -H mktexlsr
sudo -H updmap-sys

Note that if your previous distribution was set to TeXLive-2014basic, your updates would have been to that tree, and you will have to update again.
