hello,

having been unlucky in my quest for a pdf presentation tool that has a presenter view à la keynote (i.e. with a timer, the current and next slide, my notes), i decided to make my own.
you can get it here:
http://iihm.imag.fr/blanch/software/osx-presentation/

the code is available here:
https://bitbucket.org/rndblnch/osx-presentation/

it started as a python script which turned into a regular Mac application (still usable as a script from command line).
it has some nice features:
- a presenter view with a timer, the current and next slide, the notes (gathered from the PDF annotations);
- the links in the PDF are active (the navigation links generated by beamer are usable; the external urls are opened in a fullscreen web view on the secondary display);
- (manual) check for new versions
- your killer feature (after making the suggestion at https://bitbucket.org/rndblnch/osx-presentation/issues :)

hope some of you may find it usefull,

renaud
