[OS X TeX] Print all citations with biber

I use xetex and friends because my bibliographies are in UTF-8 encoding,
using several languages. But it seems to me that one could eliminate all
the xelatex-relevant code and just use pdftex.

I think we need a minimum working example, including a sample set of
references.
