Very honestly: my own inner insecurity. When it comes to computers, I am a self
taught person! (VBA, a bit of perl, earlier a bit of C, Linux and then Mac and
LaTeX). I started with LaTeX, because of my dissatisfaction with office
products. The results that LaTeX delivered finally got me stuck to it and the
fascination has remained, although the learning has taken a long time. I am
stuck with LaTeX for good and I love it

My installed LaTeX came from the TeXLive CD 2012, which I get from DANTE.

software myself and see how to solve this problem.

Thank you very much for your generosity. I am willing to give it another hand,
if I know in advance every single step of the installation. (it is the fear of
messing up my system that dominates my thinking)

I have not yet updated from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. I generally never update
my system, the moment a new version of an OS is released.

Thanks again for the generosity and support

Best regards
Suren
