[OS X TeX] Deleting a piece of text on texshop editor -issue

Howdy,

I've also never seen this behavior with any version of TeXShop. I'm presently running TeXShop 3.11 unde OS X 10.8.2. Given that it only happens when selecting using the TrackPad it must be a setting there. Do you have double-tap set to a left click?
