In the past year there was one thread in the summer (~8 posts) about the codea Lua environment on the ipad, and the current thread. Given that a large fraction of the current thread is not really about the ipad and actually about whether there should be a new list, it hardly seems that volume of messages justifies a new list.

So I sent email to the person who runs this list (among some others) with a suggestion to create TeX on iOS mailing list. I suspect that TeX on Android is sufficiently different not to have it in this list (but I could be wrong).

Howdy,

Interestingly(?), the only reason this discussion of the iPad came up at all was as an example of why vanishing scroll bars may be a good idea on the tiny screen of an iPhone, where virtually every page must scroll, it is a terrible idea on a larger screen of an iPad, especially the full sized iPad, a MacBook Air, even the 11" screen version and all larger screens. The fact that I mentioned an iPad only had to do with my example.

Good Luck,
