[OS X TeX] How do I use a personally compiled luatex with MacTeX,

Hi Herb,
Yes, it does indeed do something different. But what puzzled me was
that lualatex is just a symbolic link to luatex:

~ $ which lualatex
/usr/texbin/lualatex
~ $ l /usr/texbin/lualatex
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel     6B 25 Oct  2011 /usr/texbin/lualatex -> luatex

so it should do the same thing...
