[OS X TeX] TeXShop after migrating to a new MacBook Pro

Dick,

1. The log file is empty.

2. Typing kpsewhich article.cls in the terminal in my user account returns nothing.

3. I am typesetting with LaTeX; the drop menu displays LaTeX.
