Just a crazy idea: perhaps OSX with unix and all is going to be
an app inside iOS, like a virtual machine --- and that it will
be available from the app store!  OSX could be its own little
sandbox with its own little file system.  And then it would be
ported to the iPad, and we could finally run all our obsolete
science stuff there.  We could have a little ecological garden
inside the prison.
