[OS X TeX] keynote linkback

I can't get linkback to work properly with keynote 08 in Snow Leopard. When I select a latex equation on keynote and choose "Refresh in latexit", latexit comes up but the code for the equation is not transferred unless I manually copy/pastefrom keynote to latexit. I am using "Keynote 4 LinkBack Plugin" (that was the most recent version I could find). Does anyone have a solution?
