Maybe that's my problem, Peter. I've only noticed that url and
hyperref don't work right since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard. For
example, both of the following two minipages produce split links on my
current, MacTeX-2008 system.

\begin{minipage}{4.0in}
\url{http://vic.norton.name/finance-math/notionportf/pricedistrib.csv}
\end{minipage}

\begin{minipage}[t{4.0in}
\href{http://vic.norton.name/finance-math/notionportf/pricedistrib.csv}
{\texttt{%
http://vic.norton.name/finance-math/notionportf/
pricedistrib.csv
}}
\end{minipage}

In either case, the upper "link"
    http://vic.norton.name/finance-math/notionportf/
points to the indicated inaccessible directory. It is not part of the
whole URL, as it should be.

Regards,

Vic
