Then you're luckier than me! But I also have font libraries defined  
in Font Book. They keep TTF and OTF fonts from TeX Live/MacTeX or  
Java or Adobe products.

This does not solve your problem, maybe using for example Adobe  
Reader or such you can find out which fonts your document actually  
uses. Minimal examples with only text or only maths and all with  
\thispagestyle{empty} might give some hints – maybe you're using  
bitmapped PK fonts?
