[OS X TeX] Re: TeXShop: Stability issues and window position

Herb,

thanks for your comments. I should have added that:

- My TeXShop is v. 2.26
- My TeX distribution is TexLive-2008
- My MacOS is 10.5.8

Regarding the window setting: imagine I start with the (annoying case)
source window partly overlapping the preview window. What I do then,
is I move the source window to the left to avoid the overlapping. Now
I go to "Preferences > Source" and select "Remember last position on
close", I quit TeXShop, relaunch again, and there: the source window
is moved to the right again. Same if I now move the source window to
the left, go to Preferences, select "All windows start at fixed
position", click on set with current position, quit TexShop, launch
again. The source window is still there, way too far on the right for
my taste.

I'll try removing the TeXShop Preference files.

Best, Davide
