[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility/tlmr problem

Thanks. It seems to me there is something strange.

After having discarded the texlive 2009 (I erased /usr/local/texlive/ 
2009),
I downloaded MacTeX-2009 pretest (v. october 22) and reinstalled from  
scratch.

Then I tried to update with tlmgr from http://ftp.cstug.cz/pub/tex/tlnet/
and tlmgr update --self was ok.

The following command tlmgr update --all gives me the usual error

Trying again tlmgr update --self gives now the same error.

So it seems that the tlmgr auto-update on the mac (at least on  
mine...) installs some corrupted file.

I tried also to reinstall the TexLive Manager in TLU with no success.
