[OS X TeX] [includepdf, PDFpen] imprints don't work

This suggestion led me to a very simple approach: I've opened the  
print dialogue and saved the relevant annotated PDF file »as« PDF  
file. And -- voilá! -- now includepdf includes the PDF file including  
the annotations.

Now I do need an engine, thats automates this workflow when including  
annotated PDF files. Any hints?
