[OS X TeX] Vocabulary list in memoir

All,

I am writing a textbook in mathematics and I'd like to have a  
vocabulary list at the end of each section of  a chapter. I'd like a  
link from each word to point to the page on which it was defined. I  
am wondering if memoir's glossary environment would be appropriate  
for this use?
