[OS X TeX] (memoir) The package is being emulated.

All,

This simple file:

\documentclass{memoir}

\begin{document}
Hello.
\end{document}

Produces this warning in the log file:


Class memoir Warning: If there is an `ifetex' package then it is not  
installed.

(memoir)              The package is being emulated.


Can I safely ignore this? I am running the latest MacTeX.
