[OS X TeX] Typesetting factor of 2 slower in Leopard

Yes, I am typesetting with TeXshop. The logs seem similar but I
haven't examined them in detail (the document is 245 pages long). Of
course, typesetting a small file is fast - I am afraid that both of my
machines are running Leopard, so I can't do a comparison. For what it
is worth, my 800 MHz iBook does it in 35 sec; formerly the iBook took
twice as long, so something seems to have changed in the Powerbook
(for the worse).

I did an "upgrade install" when I installed Leopard, perhaps I should
have done a cleaner install (like "archive and install").

Cheers,

wn
