The bittorrent download is exactly the August 25 test version that a  
few folks had access to. This is also the version that will be on the  
DVD. After that, one or two insignificant changes were made in the GUI  
apps portion, and folded into MacTeX. That is what is on CTAN. For all  
practical purposes, no difference.
