[OS X TeX] LaTeXit inserts inline text too high.

When I use LaTeXit as a service to insert an inline equation into the
text in either pages or TextEdit, it seems to put the equation half a
line too far upwards.
This is with LaTeXit 1.15.0 and either Pages 3.02 or TextEdit v 1.5,
Leopard, 10.5.3.

Is there any way of adjusting the height of the equations?
