[OS X TeX] File size depends on the distiller?

I tried it with a test file that uses Times, Helvetica, and Courier.  
The output from Apple's pstopdf on Mac OS X 10.4.11 did not include  
any of these fonts – correct behaviour! So, in other words, the  
"Apple Distiller" does  not include fonts when not needed on Tiger.
