[OS X TeX] Can't see ligatures with lucida fonts in pdf files

Howdy,

So, if I have this right, the same pdf file appears differently on the  
different machines? Do the machines have the same version of the OS?  
Are the fonts embedded in the file? Have you ever cleaned out the Font  
Caches (use Onyx for your OS at <http://www.titanium.free.fr/pgs/english.html 
 >)?
