Howdy,

Do you have a fink or other distribution of TeX on your system besides  
MacTeX/TeX Live? The

export PATH=...

in that list looks kind of ugly with path items in /sw/... and / 
opt/... although the correct version of pdftex seems to be run. I  
wonder if some configuration file is being grabbed from some strange  
place.
