This is very useful information as I have been trying to get xfig  
working on Leopard and completely destroyed my X11 setup in the  
process. Installing the above Leopard patch over the version of X11  
from the Leopard DVD got me going again.

No luck with xfig but Dia installed via MacPorts seems a good  
alternative, reads .fig files and exports .eps.

So I now have 4 working TeX environments on Leopard: TeXShop, BBEdit- 
OzTeX, xemacs-xdvi and BBEdit with your scripts. That should give my  
users an adequate choice :-)
