[OS X TeX] Problems with Ghostview i-Installer package and a solution

Obviously tar tries to extract an /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults  
object, maybe a sym-link. This seems to collide with a sym-link  
that's already there.

So, why don't you save the original /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults  
sym-link under a different name and let i-Installer proceed? You can  
also copy its target, /etc/X11/app-defaults, to have a saved copy of it.
