[OS X TeX] (no subject)

Hello all,
I have installed the new TEX 2008 version and declared it as my default tEx distribution in my Mac.
what I am want to clarify is that for the other programs that I use like Texmaker, Lyx etc do I have to reinstall/reconfigure them or will it done by itself?
