Not really. I created a very simple (black on white) theme for my  
technical talks, and Keynote is still much more convenient than PPT  
or Beamer: WYSIWYG, but nicely behaved with PDF imports compared to  
PPT, including imports of equations from LaTeXIt and drawings from  
OmniGraffle.
